09.IV.2022 - Anna Soler-Pont und ihrer Agentur wurde auf der diesjährigen London Book Fair der The Rights Professional Award verliehen! Dazu meine sehr herzlichen und ergebenen Glückwünsche. Und das in allerbestem Wissen um Annas saubere Professionalität und ihren vorbildlichen Teamgeist, denn ich kenne sie seit ihren allerersten Anfängen als Agentin, als ich schon fünf oder sechs Jahre den Beruf des Literaturagenten bei meiner Meisterin Ute Körner (1939-2008) lernen durfte. Ute war damals auch ejne Kollegin, die vom ersten Moment an an Anna glaubte. Anna war zwar noch ein junges Greenhorn damals, aber hatte bereits sehr feste Vorstellungen, was sie plante und was sie schon mit der ihr eigenen Energie und Zielsicherheit in die Wege leiten konnte – gerade mit ihren Autorinnen und Autoren vom afrikanischen Kontinent.
Umso glücklicher (und auch ein bisschen stolz) war ich dann 2014, als sie mir das Vertrauen schenkte, mich als Contract Manager in ihr großartiges Team der mittlerweile zu den erfolgreichsten Agenturen Spaniens zählenden Company aufzunehmen, nachdem ich meine 28 Jahre lange Zusammenarbeit als Mitarbeiter und Teilhaber in der Agentur Körner aufgekündigt hatte.
Heute, als Rentner von hier in Bremen/Germany aus, verfolge ich mit großer Genugtuung und Freude die weiterhin so erfolgreiche Arbeit dieser Vorzeigeagentur, mit Anna als in allen Meeren bewährten Kapitänin und Ricard als sturmerprobten Steuermann und der wunderbaren Pontas-Crew on board!

Well-deserved winner
09.IV.2022 - Anna Soler-Pont and her agency were awarded The Rights Professional Award at this year's London Book Fair! For this, my very warm and devoted congratulations. And this in the very best knowledge of Anna's clean professionalism and her exemplary team spirit, because I have known her since her very first beginnings as agent, when I had the privilege to learn the profession of a literary agent for five or six years with my master Ute Körner (1939-2008). Ute was also a colleague at that time, who believed in Anna from the very first moment. Anna was still a young greenhorn at that time, but she already had very firm ideas about what she was planning and what she could already initiate with her own energy and certainty of purpose - especially with her authors from the African continent.
I was all the happier (and a bit proud) in 2014 when she trusted me to join her great team as contract manager of what is now one of the most successful agencies in Spain, after I had given up my 28-year collaboration as an employee and partner in the Körner agency.
Today, as a pensioner from here in Bremen/Germany, I follow with great satisfaction and joy the continued successful work of this flagship agency, with Anna as a captain proven in all seas and Ricard as a storm-tested helmsman and the wonderful Pontas crew on board!

09.IV.2022 - Anna Soler-Pont y su agencia han sido galardonados con el premio The Rights Professional Award en la Feria del Libro de Londres de este año. Mi más calurosa y devota felicitación. Y esto con el mejor conocimiento de la limpia profesionalidad y el ejemplar espíritu de equipo de Anna, pues la conozco desde sus inicios como agente, cuando tuve el privilegio de aprender el oficio de un agente literario de mi maestra Ute Körner (1939-2008) durante cinco o seis años. Ute también fue una colega en ese momento que creyó en Anna desde el primer momento. Por aquel entonces, Anna aún era una joven novata, pero ya tenía ideas muy firmes sobre lo que planeaba y lo que ya podía iniciar con la energía y la seguridad de propósito que la caracterizan, especialmente con sus autores del continente africano.
Más feliz (y también un poco orgulloso) me sentí en 2014 cuando Anna confió en mí para incorporarme a su gran equipo como Contract Manager en la que hoy es una de las agencias más exitosas de España, después de haber abandonado mi colaboración de 28 años como empleado y socio de la Agencia Körner.
Hoy, como pensionista de aquí, de Bremen/Alemania, sigo con gran satisfacción y alegría el exitoso trabajo de esta una de las agencias ejemplares de España, con Anna como capitana que ha demostrado su valía en todos los mares y Ricard como timonel a prueba de tormentas y la maravillosa tripulación de Pontas a bordo.
